福島県双葉郡富岡町(現在居住制限区域)にある「回転寿司アトム」。
ニュースや本で「原子力ムラを象徴する」お店として取り上げられているのを観て、
僕は店長にどうしても会いたくなった。
あの日から4年が経った。
現在の気持ちを聴きたくなった。
In 2011, Fukushima I Nuclear Power Plant had exploded by The Great East Japan Earthquake.
As a result, People can't live near that.
One such a town is “YONOMORI 夜ノ森 ” in Fukushima.
4 years have passed since then.
“ATOM SUSHI"
I knew the restaurant by books and news website.
“Atom”
The restaurant ATOM SUSHI was criticized as
“a symbol of the town which gained benefits from nuclear power plants”
but, I wanted to meet the restaurant owner of "ATOM SUSHI".
I thought that I wanted to hear his current feelings.
アトム寿司の店長 佐藤さんがいわきで焼き鳥屋を開店した事を知り、
電話をさせていただき、会いに行った。
幼少期の原子力と町の思い出、震災時の状況、心境を伺う中で、
「アトムのお店の看板を貸して下さい」という無茶なお願いをした。
I looked for him and I met him.
Now, he was working as a staff of grilled chicken restaurant .
He told me his memory about the nuclear power plant.
And I asked him.
" Could you borrow me a sign of ATOM- SUSHI?"
I knew it was a very impolite thing.
But He accepted it.
4 年前の 3 月 11 日から消えたままだった看板を、再び煌煌と点灯させる。
あの日の日常、あの日の僕達、「アトム」というその光を。
The sign is “ATOM” in Japanese.
I turned on that light which turned off four years ago.
It was like usually days,
It was like Our usually days.
We believed in it.
That blight's name is " ATOM"
タイトル「Night forest」は、回転寿司アトムの店長 佐藤成実さんの故郷 富岡町「夜ノ森」から。
”Night forest" is the name of restaurant manager Mr. Sato's hometown that nobody can live in now.
That town's name is “YONOMORI” in Japanese.
